嘉嘉（邓丽欣饰）是一个被宠坏的富家女，在学校里以她为首的9个女生都是学校篮球队的成员。嘉嘉祈求爸爸能给她买一辆车，在与朋友驾驶出外的时候，竟无端来到了一个交通命案的案发现场，奇怪的事就开始发生了。嘉嘉被路上被抢劫，竟被自己的车赶走了那些人。嘉嘉自此在知道，原来这辆车的前一个车主陈建伟（陈冠希饰）生于贫困家庭，所以身为公司高层的他总是不可一世。他因车祸英年早逝，就算不甘心也无法投胎转世，灵魂逗留在车内，9个女孩帮他找到自己的身世，帮他轮回，可是要走的一刻，嘉嘉发现自己爱上了他……
