特蕾莎（米娜?唐德 Mina Tander 饰）和艾利克斯（沃坦?威尔克?莫林 Wotan Wilke M?hring 饰）结婚已经十五年之久了。两人之间原先的激情已经被时间消磨的一干二净。特蕾莎是一名心理医生，但她无法解开深藏在丈夫内心里的锁链。艾利克斯是一名足球教练，尽管他在绿茵场上意气风发，但面对感情里的矛盾却软弱无力。
